ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 is an accredited certification program officially launched by the American ESD Association (ESD Association) in 2000. This association is composed of manufacturers and users of electronic components, and its main members include companies such as IBM and MOTOROLA. The OEM factories or suppliers of these companies must pass the ESD S20.20 certification to obtain and maintain the qualification to supply OEM and products. ESD20.20 is a buyer-certification standard. For those manufacturers of chips, electronic components, electronic and electrical, IT and communications, and automobiles, etc., to become suppliers of well-known brands, ESD20.20 is almost a mandatory certification standard.
